Tata Motors has officially launched the all-new Winger Plus in India at a starting price of ₹20.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Designed as a 9-seater premium van, the Winger Plus promises a comfortable, spacious, and connected travel experience while helping fleet operators cut down on costs and improve efficiency.
The new Tata Winger Plus has been built with a clear focus on passenger comfort. It comes equipped with reclining captain seats, adjustable armrests, individual AC vents, personal USB charging points, and plenty of legroom for every passenger. The wide cabin and a large luggage compartment make it especially suitable for long journeys, while the monocoque chassis ensures strong safety and stability. Tata claims that its car-like ride and handling make driving the Winger Plus easy and less tiring, even on long routes.
Speaking at the launch, Anand S, Vice President and Head of the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Business at Tata Motors, said the Winger Plus has been engineered to provide a premium travel experience for passengers and a strong value proposition for fleet operators. He added that India’s passenger mobility needs are evolving rapidly, from corporate staff transport in big cities to the rising demand for tourism across the country. With its comfort features and efficiency, the Winger Plus has been designed to set new benchmarks in the commercial passenger vehicle segment.
Under the hood, the van is powered by a 2.2-litre Dicor diesel engine that produces 100hp of power and 200Nm of torque. Alongside its proven efficiency, the Winger Plus also gets Tata Motors’ Fleet Edge connected platform, which allows real-time tracking, diagnostics, and fleet optimisation—features that will help business owners manage their operations more effectively.
The company is also backing the new model with its Sampoorna Seva 2.0 initiative, which offers guaranteed turnaround times, annual maintenance contracts, genuine spare parts, and breakdown assistance. With over 4,500 sales and service outlets across India, Tata Motors aims to make ownership of the Winger Plus stress-free and profitable for operators.
With this launch, Tata Motors has expanded its strong lineup of commercial passenger vehicles, making the Winger Plus a compelling option for businesses looking at reliable, premium, and efficient mobility solutions.
