The wait is finally over! OnePlus has officially confirmed the global launch of its next-generation flagship — OnePlus 15 5G. The smartphone will first make its debut in China in October 2025, followed by a global launch in early 2026. For Indian buyers, the phone is expected to arrive in January 2026.
A Premium Design With a Twist
OnePlus has already teased the new flagship in a striking Sand Storm colour variant, giving us the first real look at its upgraded design. The aluminium frame now gets an industry-first micro-arc oxidation treatment — a high-voltage plasma process that coats the frame with a ceramic layer. According to OnePlus, this makes the frame 3.4x stronger than aluminium and 1.5x tougher than titanium.
The back panel is made of fibreglass, and the redesigned camera module instantly stands out. There’s also a brand-new “Plus” key, which can be customised to manage shortcut functions on the phone.
Snapdragon Power + Better Cooling
Under the hood, the OnePlus 15 5G is confirmed to run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, promising top-tier flagship performance. The device will also come with a new cooling system to ensure smoother gameplay and heavy multitasking without heating issues.
